Kirby, help us. Your humble worshipper beseeches You, All-Father: turn the full, terrible fury of Your mighty scowl on these people.

Buddy-buddy with crazy b!tch Maya Hansen.

Their views on research begin to clash... I thought we had that covered in #6. "It´s not a good idea to get 50 people killed for the sake of an experiment." "Yeah, well, I think it is, so poo on you."

Tony wrestling with his conscience... does he do anything else besides that, these days?

I don't get it. Isn't Maya supposed to be back in jail? I never understood how that little story thread played out. Tony breaks Maya out of jail to help him figure out what's wrong with his body, and then Maya just continues to live on the lam? And Tony, the guy who had her arrested for the Extremis affair, is OK with this? And now Maya and Tony are buddy buddy again and the story centers around Maya going to go job-hunting??? WTF?

Further, why does the solicit read like Tony having issues with Maya's research is a new development? Its not like their relationship since Maya has been in the cast has been defined by their friendship.

Yep, it makes no sense and its just another bit of ongoing editorial laziness that's par for the course on IM.

I can't wait for more conscience wrestling. Between injecting himself with untested drugs, beating up and locking up his best friends, building a gulag, cloning, shilling for the government, housing a fugitive, and pulling the plug on his best friend it makes me wonder what's actually left to make Tony feel guilty this month. Maybe he destroys the UN or takes a child bride.

...knowing that I don't have to worry about getting to the comic shop when Iron Man's books come out. Lately, I've been twitchy and depressed knowing that Hypervelocity is out, in my pulled list, yet I have no access to it. I just thank the Knaufs for sucking so much that I don't have to bother getting excited every month, like I have to with Adam Warren.

For the sake of intellectual honesty, let us be clear: Tony isn't responsible for the cloning of Thor; that was Reed and Hank. I'm not saying you're wrong about any of this other stuff; I'm just saying 'let's criticize him for what he deserves to be criticized for'.

..he might not be responsible for the actual cloning process but he's the guy that scooped up Thor's genetic material that made it possible...and provided the tech necessary.

Further, he went along with launching Clor as a weapon. I don't think its inaccurate to say that "Tony, Reed, and Pym made a clone of Thor. "

Its not like he had Thor's hair in a picture album and Reed and Pym made a clone and Tony was appalled. : )
