Visually, it's stylish, but Snyder's work always has been. What he can't do well is tell a story or create engaging characters. The trailer with its poor dialogue and lots of posturing by the characters don't make me any more confident that Snyder has improved.

No, he certainly hasn't. It seems like, in the face of public criticism, he digs in his heels and doubles down on his simplistic vision of the characters. He can't seem to acknowledge that he's wrong. And he blames the fans when his movies don't perform well.

Didn't he famously say that there are some fans who take it personally that he's trying to grow these characters up? A pretty arrogant thing to say. DC's characters have been popular a long time. And will remain so long after Snyder is forgotten.
