Ok War of Kings ended with the Fraternity of Raptors (the Darkhawk armored guys) having infiltrated the Imperial Guard and manipulating the Shi'ar empire from the shadows. One of the replaced Imperial Guard members Mentor has been show several times since he was replaced yet there has been no further mention if it's still the FoR imposter, if the original has been rescued or the guy is just a clone of the original.

It looks like we finally get to see something FoR next month in All New Gaurdians of the Galaxy. But it's written by Gerry Duggan who I'm just...not fond of. I really don't want him to put his grubby little fingers on them. Where's Dan Abnett? I really wanted to see where he was going with these guys.

Abnett is DC exclusive, and he's writing the Aquaman book. The Raptors seem pretty powerful, were they from the old Darkhawk series? I read some of his series, and I actually quite like Darkhawk. I'm not completely sure what the retcon was, but I know that his origin and mythology was completely retconned. What issue did this happen in? I wasn't all that crazy about The War Of Kings, from what I read about it (It could be because I just hate Vulcan, though. To my knowledge, he hasn't come back, and I hope that it stays that way.). Thanks.
