By strange coinkydink, I reread the entire ClanDestine epic (including MCP intro issue & 2012 annuals)* last week. Love Alan Davis, and pretty much everything he does.

* = Not including those Glenn Dakin issues that were written out of continuity. Cuz, why bother.

    Quick questions:

•Does Newton have a codename and is his armor as cutting edge tech comparible to the new Iron Patriot or "last year's" Iron Man to a respectible degree? His whole minor subplot with "Storm" was a SLAP happy episode. \:\)

Closest thing to a codename he has is "Warlord of Etheria."

•Is Adam Destine and Logan's past adventure against Chen Yu an UNTOLD story to date?

•It was great to actually see training drones using Image Inducer tech and the Danger Room wasn't ALL just Shi'ar Holo-hardlight technology again. It's less offputting than the wanton (and selfish) overuse of that easypeasy goto alien science. Were these DRONES ever shown in any back issues of X-books before?

Doubt it, but maybe. I prefer the holograms, tbh.

•Why has CLAN DESINTE -basically- failed to stick around? The twins are charming and the family is superpowered diverse enough. It can't be a proprietory or creator etiquette thing, right?

I don't know, tbh. I'd buy them. Some might not like the sheer old-fashioned fun of them.

The writer of this article is equally confused about its failure.

Loved Alan Davis's Clan Destine. I was fun and beautiful, better than 90% of what Marvel is putting out theses days. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
