Clint Barton. The thing that confused many ones was his "Yo!", in current storyarc. And i was skeptical too. But I just reread the Chuck Austen storyarc with the introduction of Lionheart. in one of the issues, Hawkeye says "Yo", exactly the same way.
This could mean nothing, but here's a good clue, I guess...

I still think it is and should be Nick Fury. It makes the most sense to me.

...How is the use of the word "Yo" any clue as to who the character is? Yes, I understand what you mean, but that is a very weak argument. See, somethimes a hero (or villain) won't stop at putting a mask on to conceal their identities, some will change their mannerisms and vocabulary in order to prevent others from knowing who they are.

Clark Kent - Bumbling, shy, nerdy
Superman - Collected, brave, cool

Bruce Wayne - Shallow, flirtatious, apathetic
Batman - Troubled, reclusive, obsessive (formerly)

Peter Parker - Reclusive, nerdy, bumbling
Spider-Man - Reclusive, nerdy, sarcastic, incredibly atheletic and coordinated

See?

It probably is nothing, or it could be one of the subtler clues ever employed! !!! Only time will tell! \:\-\)

That might be cool, but I just don't see Fury following orders like this.

I could see him as more of a benefactor role for New Avengers, but not under Cage.

My guess would be Dwayne Taylor...NIGHT THRASHER.

The suit was given to Iron Fist for safe keeping. Night Thrasher helped Iron Fist regain is mantle. If he did survive the explosion. Who would have the resources in place to help him? Iron Fist is the only guy I can think of that he did not piss off. \:\-\) lol

> Clint Barton.

...plus, doesnt Clint Barton know how the avengers banter about during a fight? This ronin character seems to be new to group dynamics, while hawkeye has been an avenger since, like, forever.

I think this may be the missing clue - he is new to this team of Avengers. He has never served with Luke, Spider-woman, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, Wolverine, or Spiderman to my knowledge. Met them yes, but not in a team dynamic. And they are certainly more comfortable with each other than they would be with him. So he could be remarking as to how tight knit they seem to be.

While he hasn't been a team member with these guys, he's no stranger to the likes of Spider-Man. One of the earlier Spider-Man annuals highlighted how much he related to Spider-Man, and they've faught together in at least a few Team-Ups. Ditto with Strange, who is a prime player in most of the MU.
