Subj: New Avengers coming leadership struggle *SPOILERS!* [SPOILERS] Posted: Sun May 13, 2007 at 02:21:05 am EDT | Reply Subj: Re: Thor vs Hulk drawing - lessons to be learned Posted: Sun May 13, 2007 at 08:55:12 am EDT
Okay, for some reason Luke Cage is leading whats left of the New Avengers. Not that I don't think its a kick@$$ role for him, its just that new recruits Doctor Strange and Ronin are only going to put up with so much. Strange has led many, many incarnations of the Defenders... and his abilities are so incomprehensible to most that he's nearly impossible to manage. And Ronin, well he's led very well, and has a problem with authority no matter what the source (just look at his early days!). So, after challenges to Cage's leadership descend into a well-written meltdown of torn loyalties and rival factions, I want to see a return of the rotating chairmanship tradition. Without Cap, the NA should reject everything about Tony and the hierarchy he's built, and rotating leadership would be just the way to do it. DH the Lurker (Was it just me, or did the latest issue make it sound like the Secret War was post formation of the original NA? I always thought it was before?)
