I didn't like the first issue at all, I reluctantly picked up the second and enjoyed it a bit, but this latest issue is just awesome.

It was a great Hawkeye issue. We got to see his reaction to 'Miss' Hawkeye and he had an impressive scene expertly handling the shield. I finally realized that it's all building up to Iron Man's story issue 5.

Agreed. I actually feel like this issue vindicated the first two t oa degree. I find myself looking forwards to the next two, now.

I was pretty happy with it also. I completely agree. I thought the first two were equally "meh", but I really enjoyed this one. And thanks to this issue now I am also looking forward to the Young Avengers WWH one shot by Loeb that's coming out now. Wolverine and Fallen Son have been very "meh" at best, but I really liked this issue a lot.

Did anyone eles noticed the reference to Tony Stark's sleeping with Janet Van Dyne just after she divorced Henry Pym back around Avengers #212-230. Tony was still drinking, and Janet didn't know he was also Iron Man.

In Fallen Son Chapter Three, Clint Barton handles Cap's Sheild with Iron Man Tony Stark next to him. Clint say "I Feel like I'm Diddling My Best Friend's Wife... Tony say [Huh. I Wouldn't Know About that...].

I've been enjoying this series since the first issue. Loeb gets a lot of flack from some people, but he can write a solid comicbook.

Iron Man has confirmed his unforgivable jerkery in the worst way here.. He COLDCOCKS Hawkeye just for the sake of subjecting him to medical tests to prove he's not a robot or clone, etc.? Damn, man-- I guess Knock-Out gas would have been too civilized, or even just asking him to submit a blood sample..

Stark is truly drunk off his own power..

I agree too. "Wolverine" was awkward largely because of the New Avengers arc doing virtually the same thing. "Avengers" was just empty dialogue from the NA run alongside a filler story for the MA. But this issue actually felt like a tribute to Cap for once.
