Shifting back and forth between time periods.But also focusing on Dane. Unlike where Ironfist wa sretconed into a legacy, Black Knight already is.

I thought he was set up perfectly for a solo series way back Ostrander's Heroes for Hire. I'll buy any Black Knight book, but I'd like it even more if it was as top notch as Iron Fist.

First, Brubaker has a solid fan following from his great work with Captain America, Daredevil, and Criminal. People buy it just because of him. Also, IF reaches into the super hero and kung fu genres. I think BK would have a smaller turnout. However, the great thing about IF is how there is a theme and it doesn't break into standard super hero stuff. BK could be a cool book if done from a very dark and mystical angle. I don't want to see him fighting the Scorpion or whatever. The art and coloring would have to be toned down as to not look like the Avengers. Basically, a gook BK book could be done but I can't say how many people feel loyal enough to the character to buy it.

A Black Knight Book by Roger Stern or Steve Epting could be great or a more dark book.. I don't have a problem with any of this. But, i think it'S sure this book can sell better if he's againt the traditionel Marvel Vilains and with guess apparance of some avengers like Crystal, Thor or Hercules. And i don't have a problem to see him fighting The Scorpion or The Zodiac. > Shifting back and forth between time periods.But also focusing on Dane. Actually, it could be more interesting, since many (half?) of the Black Knight predecessors were out and out villains. There could be alot of bad history to be set right... DH the Lurker (Of course, I've always been in favor of killing off Dane and replacing him with an evil Black Knight)
