Very interesting-looking.

Looking at the cover, I had figured the story would deal with alternate realities and stuff, but now I'm guessing it could be something similar to Avengers Forever, where Avengers are plucked from different eras. Logan from when he was a samurai, Luke Cage from the early days in his career, Jessica Jones from her days as a superhero, Dr. Strange from his days as a medical doctor, Spider-Man from when he was still a teenager (maybe even before he had powers), an Iron Fist from the past (as there have been many Iron Fist throughout the centuries, as detailed in The Immortal Iron Fist) and Captain America from he was still, you know, alive and stuff.

The only thing that doesn't fit is the woman in the Daredevil costume. I am guessing she could be Echo from the future, one where Matt Murdock isn't Daredevil anymore and she has taken the mantle. Maybe something related to Daredevil: End of Days, which Bendis and David Mack (Echo's creator) are scripting.

I am so sick and tired of alternate realitys. Even when they do this for an arc or 2 it doesn't bring any real character development. Look at House of M. A storyline that could have been told in 2 issues frankly, was stretched out to the far reaches of the marvel universe. What changed? Well we had only 198 mutants left which was pretty huge, till they found a loop hole to bring em back. Iceman, Polaris, Xavier......eventually it was all for nothing. I have faith in Bendis. He's crafted a team that I can really get into and Yu's art is superb. I'll stick around to see what happens. That Daredevil chick tripped me out though. At first glance it seemed like Matt was just pacjing on a little weight in the man boob area.

...Jessica Drew. GOD, I wish they would stop writing her as a traitor all the time, I mean if it turns out that she betrays the team, who's gonna trust her after that??

In Fallen Son #3, Clint explicitly tells Iron Man that he doesn't want to be the new Cap.

going along with the time-displaced heroes, that could be Clint Barton during the time he used the Captain America apperance, notice the impacts on the shield.

Also, the Spiderwoman absence make think that is truth what Bendis said on the Joe Fridays Newsrama interview.

well, maybe.

Bendis said:
You will get more of Clint and his new identity and whether he keeps it or not in very recent upcoming issues. Unless he dies at the hand of Hydra leader Nick Fury at the end of #31, or Ultron might make him into a Japanese school girl, or really he's the Beyonder, or... wait, maybe Clint could be Master Chief.

Hydra leader Nick Fury???? *gah*

I'm pretty sure Bendis was just joking when he said that.
