Next week, the first regular Avengers reprint title since the 1970s hits the stands. Reprint titles can be quite short-lived. What do you think the Vegas over-under odds are for Avengers Classic? How many issues will come out?
For posterity's sake, the all-time Marvel record is Spidey reprint series Marvel Tales, which made it 289 issues. The closest equivalent to the Avengers Classic format (reprint plus new short story based in the reprint's era)is Classic X-Men/X-Men Classic, which made it to 110 issues.

I'll start the odds with 16 issues- enough for sales to slow down, and to finish the series with the big bang of the Kooky Quartet's arrival. I'd love to see it go longer, but as we go from Kirby to Heck and the initial big draws (#1, Cap joining, the Masters, Kang, and Wonder Man) die down, I think sales will die as well.
How many issues do you think the series will last?
