Was Lindt a Skrull the whole time and the injuries from Ultrette just non-fatal to its species or did they get rid of the original's body and replace her then? Her fearful aside to Stark just seemed totally Skrully to me and I can't recall her ever getting a thought balloon...

This text contains a spoiler based on an image on the cover of a comic soon to be released. Please look away now...

There's a cover with a certain person holding their finger up to their mouth as if to say, "don't tell anyone I'm a skrull". This person is green and has a skrully chin chin. This person has also used thinking balloons in recent history.

I don't think thinking is a clue of any kind. I also don't think green eyes are a clue of any kind. Bendis wanted us to think the baby is a skrull. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't, but a big arrow saying "the baby is a skrull" would have worked just as well as those green eyes. I then took Drew's green eyes as proof she was a skrull, but now it looks like she really isn't. Therefore, green eyes do not mean skrull. Thinking does not mean human (probably)

That was frustrating about this month's issue - the matter was not addressed properly except in the Prev Page of all places. Instead of celebrating their Ultrette/Jantron victory (and gettting liquored up against SHRA rules ;\) ) they should have at least mentioned the 'event'. They obviously were aware of his belief that Sentry had lost his wife during the battle.

Did he just touch her in seclusion or public to bring her back? Or maybe did he perceive he brought her back when in fact she was replaced for the 1st (2nd?) time by a skrull? It's understandable that the on-panel reveals have to be selective 'til Secret Invasion is out but this was a frustrating plot point to gloss over, eh?

And after reading here:

maybe we just didn't see Robert (get plastered and) make like a (Scarlet?) witch and
!

Maybe the probabilities will be reduced with more info next issue. Heck, maybe Lindy is a witch...

I'm going on memory alone (and memory is the second thing to go at my age) but I believe Bendis said that the Skrull could be found by the lack of thought balloons for that character.

Especially considering the WonderMan-Ms.Marvel exchange in the last Mighty. It almost seems he was thanking her for covering up his lapses in coverstaion, and the Toast.

I don't think he specifically said the lack of thought balloons. He just said that the thought balloons were a clue. Could be the lack of them, or could be "fishy" thoughts.
