Over in Uncanny, Cyclops commands Wolverine to kill anyone who gets in his way. Assuming we're operating on Marvel time, and it's been 10 years since the FF gained its powers, Cyclops has gone from "X-Men don't kill" to "kill everyone" in 2-3 years.

But in the last 2-3 years he was possessed by Apocalypse and Cassandra Nova... and had freaky three-way telepathy with the Phoenix force and White Queen. That'll mess anyone up.

I don't disagree with you, but it's not so much that he's ordering Wolverine to kill. Mutants' and especially the X-Men's backs are against the wall. It's do or die. I'd be cool with Kitty Pryde slobbering for the character's death if it meant I got a few yeras vacatiuon from having to read stories with him in it.
