> This is the issue where Manhattan is taken over by the alien symbiotes. Everyone else seems to be in for the fight of their lives but not Tony. Instead there he is looking as cool as a cucumber with his shields (Thanos style) holding off a bunch of Carnage strength symbiotes. Sentry on the other hand, gets gang banged. \:\-D
-nice thread

-like Jan's continued interest in costume designs
-like the (thoughtbubble)conversation as if married
-did not like the suddenness of giving her a growth option (which she already did in England IIRC) w/o testing; it's a unique ability that should only be done by YJ as it would cause bio-havoc on anyothers since it's too convenient and high a power boost for Wasp

550 × 834

-like the dire situation
-HATE the green on yellow font
-it would be so cool if there actually WAS a Initiative Day Count for readers to access but suspect it's used here only as a story device

550 × 834

-uuuuh, Carol, if you suspect theyre humans make a call 'cuz Widow and Ares have decided are in killing mode
-have to go recheck NA if everyone was cured but naked

550 × 834

-nice scenes; have an urge to read this months Marvel Adventures Avengers
-hey, doesnt Sentry have a wider range of attack/distance powers?

550 × 834

-this wouldve been really cooler if it wasnt anticlimactic
-guess it aint boys/black, girls/red

100 × 151

-can we assume transformed people cant be skrulls??
-cant wait for the rest and Latveria's role; interesting to already have preview of #9: http://www.comicboards.com/avengers/view.php?trd=080129224901

I thought it was really low for Clint to say to Tony that he killed Steve, that he might as well as pulled the trigger. Tony should have punched Clint for saying that, because he has know idea what Tony has gone through since Steve's death.

Bendis truly write Hawkeye as a total jerk. Of course, so did Austen before him... not a good time to be a Clint fan.

Tony's problems are his own fault. He made his bed, now he has to live with it and every one of his questionable/unethical actions.

BTW, has it ever been explained why there was so little security around when Cap was shot? You'd think even if no one thought about an assassination attempt they'd at least consider some of the free anti-reg heroes trying a jail break.

In the actaul issue Red Skull says that he pulled a lot of strings to get the security down and to set Steve up in the exact right spot.

Doesnt mean Clint isn't a jerk for making stuff up either.

Yep... and you can place the blame for that squarely on Nick Fury, who misdirected SHIELD resources so that he and the Falcon could rescue Cap. #25 says so explicitly.

After Hawkeye's inexcusable actions in #26, things can hardly get any worse. That issue single-handedly made me hate the guy, and he flat-out earned the punch Tony greeted him with back in Fallen Son. If we're supposed to seriously keep on treating him as a hero, and he doesn't get outed as a Skrull, the least they can do is just have Stark punch him out every issue.
