I thought it was really low for Clint to say to Tony that he killed Steve, that he might as well as pulled the trigger. Tony should have punched Clint for saying that, because he has know idea what Tony has gone through since Steve's death.

Bendis truly write Hawkeye as a total jerk. Of course, so did Austen before him... not a good time to be a Clint fan.

BTW, has it ever been explained why there was so little security around when Cap was shot? You'd think even if no one thought about an assassination attempt they'd at least consider some of the free anti-reg heroes trying a jail break.

In the actaul issue Red Skull says that he pulled a lot of strings to get the security down and to set Steve up in the exact right spot.

Doesnt mean Clint isn't a jerk for making stuff up either.

Yep... and you can place the blame for that squarely on Nick Fury, who misdirected SHIELD resources so that he and the Falcon could rescue Cap. #25 says so explicitly.

After Hawkeye's inexcusable actions in #26, things can hardly get any worse. That issue single-handedly made me hate the guy, and he flat-out earned the punch Tony greeted him with back in Fallen Son. If we're supposed to seriously keep on treating him as a hero, and he doesn't get outed as a Skrull, the least they can do is just have Stark punch him out every issue.
