I was thinking about who might be able to fill Dr. Strange's spot in NA. I changed my mind given the fact that he is unregistered and think it would be cool for the new Captain America to join. He has a history with Wolverine, which is interesting and it would just seem like a better fit for him, rather than putting him in Mighty Avengers. The NA was largly loyal to the first Cap to begin with. It makes more sense.

I'd like to see Thor on the team also, but he wouldn't show up every issue. He could give them sanctuary in the new Asgard when they need it. He would fill the powerhouse position nicely and be a great opposition to the Sentry in MA.

I'd like Clint to be Hawkeye again, now that Iron Man knows he is back.

Maybe Marvel Boy could make his big return and become part of the NA under the guise of Ronin, seeing as how he was a fugitive at one time, having declared war on America. After his chat with the Illuminati, he becomes a hero for a change and sides with the Avengers.

Tigra would make sense given her recent problems with The Hood. Maybe she gets fed up with the registration as a result and begins aiding the NA. Everyone says Bendis doesn't like her, but he seems to be using her alot lately, and she does put up a fight by the end of last story arc.

So then:

1) Captain America
2) Thor
3) Luke Cage
4) Spiderman
5) Wolverine
6) Hawkeye
7) Iron Fist
8) Echo
9) Marvel Boy as Ronin III
10) Tigra

iron man already knows clint is back, he just didnt know he had sided with the new avengers.

clint met with tony at the remains of the avengers mansion when he heard about cap's death as shown in the fallen son series. upon that meeting iron man propositioned that he become the new captain america, with an interesting scene showing that thus far, only clint and bucky are knowledgeable enough to operate caps shield effectively, clint being the only one of the two able to do it without the use of a bionic arm.

clint even went so far as to try on the suit, but after a meeting with the patriot and the new hawkeye, he came to his senses and opted not to take the gig.

thats when he went to the new avengers.

In the long run, Peter Parker must be a loser who cannot be earning a full-time salary as an Avenger. As long as he is a New Avenger, the New Avengers cannot pay their members, or even have much of a formal organization.

Considering everyone is going to have to band together to fight the Skrulls and that it will be a great victory, I am baffled at even thinking of a scenario where Tony Stark and Peter Parker do not reconcile. But if they reconciled, Peter Parker should at least be worth some sort of job at Stark Industries.

I'm wondering if at some point Peter Parker will do a throwback to the 80s or whatever and beg off of being an Avenger to go back to being a street-level hero, even though he has proven he can hang with them as an equal. (And at this point, the New Avengers ARE a street-level hero superteam.)

I was thinking the same thing after finishing the Annual. Tigra seems to be a likely choice for membership, and she'd be a reversal of what's now happening with Jessica Jones. Jess felt unsafe being unregistered so she goes to Stark Tower. I bet Tigra doesn't feel too safe being a registered hero. It wouldn't be a stretch at all to have Tigra as a New Avenger. Also, wouldn't the fact that she was a spy in Civil War make it kind of interesting? There can never be enough distrust.

Hard to think of who else I'd want to see on this team though. Not the new Cap. I don't know. I'd feel like being on this team would diminish him. I like him more as an independent entity. Same with Thor. Thor would also kill the team's underdog status.

Firestar could be interesting, but doubtful.

I like the idea of having Firestar as a New Avenger, the team could use her powers and it would be cool to how she would interact with the rest of the team.

> I was wondering what is going to happen with the two teams (three if you count the Avengers running the innitiative program). I think some hints were mentioned in Captain America #34, when he asks what will people think when your seen chauffering a non registered hero? With Spider woman (i think Skrull) leaving new Avengers and Doctor Strange leaving that leaves it down to Cage, Spider Man, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Echo, Ronin II. O thonk Cage will elave to sort out his life, I don't see Echo staying around. But with al the distrust going around would they take in Tigra? Maybe this is the point where they start to trust one another again?
I wonder if tony (in agreement with the new Avengers, will have the Black Widow return to New Avengers and run that team and have Captain America X join that team. I don't see Wolverine or Spider Man leaving, it helps to much in sales.. Maybe iron fist leaves with Cage and helps him sort out his life. It was also mentioned that Thor would be returning. So I think the New Avengers line up will be( eventually.)

Black Widow (leader)
Thor I
Hawkeye I
Captain America X
Spider Man I
Wolverine (reserve)
Tigra

I haven't thought of the Might Avengers. I'm thinking either or both Wonder Man and Wasp are Skrulls. Not sure what that team might look like. Maybe Doc Samson will join.

They've run into each other twice.

Once was in the Fallen Son: The Death Of Captain America miniseries. The other time was in this weeks issue of Mighty Avengers.

I like alot of your well thought out statements.

I'm sorry to see Dr. Strange go. I liked him on the team. I sincerely hope he comes back. Wouldn't mind seeing him in another mini-series.

However, there might not be a New Avengers (or Mighty Avengers) post-Secret Invasion. I'm speculating that both books would combine into the Avengers starting at #504.

For the sake of arguement that the New Avengers is still going on. I would like to see this line up:

1. Spider-Man
2. Wolverine
3. Thor
4. Captain America (ex-Winter Soldier)
5. Daredevil
6. Iceman
7. Firestar
8. Hawkeye (Clint Barton)

I'd like to see both Hawkeye and the new Captain America on the team, with Hawkeye as the leader and the new Cap giving him @#$% all the time.

definitely more female characters:

Tigra and maybe She-Hulk at some point. Sersi would be cool as resident witch.

Back when we were all guessing who Ronin was, I thought NohVarr was a possible candidate. Obviously he wasn't and has hardly been used since. So, yes I'm going to include MarvelBoy as Ronin in this line-up.

1) Hawkeye(w/arrows)-lead
2) Winter Soldier-Cap
3) Marvel Boy as Ronin III
4) Cloak
5) Dagger
6) Jocasta=-Offline and Anti-Stark
7) Gilgamesh-Back from Limbo
8) Songbird-Finally on the right side
