Finally, just watched the movie this weekend. It was really enjoyable! They made Hawkeye and Natasha believable recruits to stand with the superpowers. That Loki interrogation by her was brilliant. Thor's persona had more impact if you watched his movie first - done and done. This version of Hulk was much more relatable compared to his two films where he was more two-dimensional. Cap was alright - they clearly played up the supersoldier angle which is fine by me. And Iron Man was the bomb (literally too ![]() If that earlier post, here, is true and Agent Coulson is still alive for the TV show then Nick Fury is even more cruel/underhanded than merely planting those bloody Cap cards. So many good scenes and one-liners that fit in seemlessly. The whole Thanos backstory probably meant more to comicbook fans than the general public though. And maybe the battle went a bit beyond comicbook danger followed by no meaningful followup to devastation beyond a 30second newsbyte. But thats nitpick to a very fun film.

There is, as far as I know, still no confirmation that the SHIELD series will be taking place after the movie... it could be taking place prior to the Iron Man movie. Also, can anyone confirm that Coulson will be in episodes beyond the pilot? I think he will be but I'm not 100% sure.
