Is it just me, or are there a SHED LOAD of Avengers comics for sale? Avengers AI Young Avengers Undercover Avengers Secret Avengers Avengers New Avengers Uncanny Avengers Avengers World Avengers Assemble (this has ended I believe? maybe?) Mighty Avengers (here ends the official list)* Weak Avengers Sweet N'Sour Avengers Old Avengers Big Avengers Avenging Avengers and Im out of hilarious made up titles now. ![]() Its impossible to keep up with them all its total overkill of the Avengers brand if you will. So basically which one of these is the Main Avengers title? If any. To be honest, the only ones Im thinking to keep thus are: Avengers Secret Avengers and probably Uncanny, But I wouldn't mind some advice on what to do, because I literally can't keep buying all those titles, its too much.

Undercover Avengers Secret Avengers Avengers New Avengers Uncanny Avengers Avengers World Mighty Avengers (here ends the official list)* 7 isn't all that much. But I was raised an X-Man. Undercover Avengers really isn't an Avengers book, anyway. Neither was the last Young Avengers. Avengers AI - cancelled Young Avengers - cancelled Avengers Assemble (this has ended I believe? maybe?) - yes, cancelled City of Heroes is BACK!

I think the books have to have more reason for them. Avengers and Avengers World are basically the same. I would like to see I am an Avenger featuring a certain Avenger. Also Avengers in Training. Mr. Bojo

Personally, I think there are too many Avengers and X-Men comics and not enough diversity, but it's the market that determines what sticks around and what gets canceled and to their credit Marvel has made attempts to produce non-Avengers and X-Men titles (i.e. Defenders. Twice in the past several years.). If people aren't buying these titles and are more prone to purchase a comic with "Avengers" slapped on it, who can blame the editor in chief?

You buy all the Avengers titles. You drop just one. The worst one. Two months later you see in the main book that Spider Woman is no longer seeing Hawkeye. You freak out because you did not know that. You come on here and ask where that happened. Someone tells you it happened in the second issue of the worst book you stopped buying. You realise you aren't dead. You drop all the books except the main one and any that are consistently good. You just buy the main one and issue one of any new book that comes out.

*Spider Woman, Black Widow and Purple Arrow in Avengers and Secret Avengers *Captain America and Wolverine in Avengers and Uncanny Avengers *Falcon in Avengers and Mighty Avengers *Iron Man in Avengers and New Avengers *Everybody from Avengers is bound to appear in Avengers World If I feel that there are too many Avengers title, I can put a sticker "Illuminati" on the New Avengers cover, a sticker "Agents of SHIELD" on the Secret Avengers cover, and so on. Unfortunately, I can't put a sticker on Iron Man or Purple Arrow's face.

And its this precise reason I feel there's too many Avengers books coming out. Its really hard to keep track of them all.

Undercover Avengers Secret Avengers Avengers New Avengers Uncanny Avengers Avengers World Mighty Avengers Has there been a Hiatus on Mighty? I can't even remember the last time that came out. I have to streamline my Avengers intake, alas money is something I have to preserve like an endangered species. Undercover, New, and World won't be making their way into my bag anymore alas, that leave me with Secret, Avengers, Uncanny and Mighty (purely to refersh my memory of it.)

No hiatus. #9 just came out 2 weeks ago. Frankly, were it not for Mighty, I wouldn't be enjoying any Avengers. City of Heroes is BACK!

Mighty Avengers (here ends the official list)* Avengers AI will end soon Young avengers is just a serie of mini serie and its awful Undercover avengers ... i hope it's only a mini serie and end before they Kill another kid Secret Avengers ... god scrap the idea it's not working after 3 #1 you should understand Uncanny Avengers look to be on their onw world no connection at all with the rest of the 616 universe. Avengers avengers world and New Avengers it's just one big story Avengers assemble just end and mighty Avengers sell very poorly even if it's a really great book marvel micro handbook http://marvel-microheroes.wikia.com/wiki/Marvel-Microheroes_Wiki

Quote: Is it just me, or are there a SHED LOAD of Avengers comics for sale? It isn't just you. But they all have different teams, different plots, or different focuses. Usually you can tell by who is writing it if it ties into other books. Obviously New Avengers and Avengers have a Hickman thing going on. And Spencer is picking up on some stuff (but mostly character development) over in Avengers World. Everything else is almost completely separate. And some of them like YA aren't even really a team. Avengers is the core title. New Avengers follows the Illuminati and we're seeing the two books starting to interwine more post-Infinity. Avengers World is dealing with several characters but is mostly doing its own plot. Uncanny Avengers is separate but it looks like the next big summer event is going to tie into it so its plots may be important to the overall MU but they aren't directly impacing Avengers or NA. Secret Avengers isn't even an Avengers title and is just a few characters who happen to be Avengers (and some who aren't) carrying out SHIELD missions.

And it's ironic how this thread came this week when 5 AVENGERS titles are releases and there is no love or excitement for any of them really. Maybe they should at least be better spread out over the month to at least not to vie with each other for interest. Although, there is hope that one or more of them will surprise me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I miss Dad and Dan.
