Ignoring the fact Daz still has (ugly) emo-punk(?) aspirations mixed with newfound (distressing) Harley Quinn punch-first-talk-later rollergirl ambitions;
ignoring that the Writer & Editor has yet to be reader friendly by providing some chronology footnotes with Medusa, Carol and Jen;
ignoring contradiction that Nico cannot repeat her "UNMADE" spell against Antimatter even though pages before she makes it a story point of repeating a Wolverine-level regenerative healing spell by simply saying it a different language;
ignoring an encore of Captain Carol's bumbling by searching database for a light emitting superhuman when she is close enough to Spectrum not to mention that Aurora should be right there on the AF Space Station...
this was a real fun read. The art is lovely. The story circumstances to gather this (soon to be A-Force) team do not feel forced/convoluted at all and organically is an interesting way of introducing Singularity to the 616("Prime"*ugh) world. Actually, the only forced element was making it seem reasonable that Medusa was carrying around a prototype teleport disc. This gaggle of gals had good gabbing going on - no problem there. The problem will be making a reasonable excuse for the team to stay together after this origin arc. The last page confrontation was a real good ending made better with the comical next issue blurb.
Going to pay attention for when #3 hits the stands.
