Hercules 006 (2016)


• believable battle's eve partying and prepping

• fun character moments utilizing ALL of the title's cast players (even Crua quickly and surprisingly now likable)

• pop culture references enhance reader's presence in the now (Ganges' Demon, Auto-Correct, David Bowie, Party Mozart, Ragu Pasta, Auguste Escoffier(who?), NASCAR Fan, and The Champions - they have reunions! )

• calling in Iron Man for confab read smart and was engaging (using a doublepage splash was an unnecessary indulgence)

• "YOU'RE AN AVENGER" status is noted (could be generalization - or a clue)

• marvelous misdirection (along with inclusion of continuity friendly clue, clues?)

• endearing Hercules personality and self-analysis spotlight all ish

• great "will he?, won't he?" tease on the last page ('cuz clearly he's grown smart enough to not have been fooled today, right?)

• Inspiring cover.
