New Avengers 012 (2016)
This was NOT surprisingly -and quite certainly- very good.
Very Good:
-all of the art - along with some seriously fantastic little details;
-3 stories going on with plenty of content each;
-how post-PH Director UGHill is presented spot on;
-revealing development with Garrett;
-WELL DONE simultaneous scene crossover with
Civil War II#1 because this behind-the-scenes
-POV was interesting and NA friendly;
-Excelsior Sword now comes with Marvel appropriate "FOOM" sound f/x;
-magic mind meld detail noted (for future plot device debates);
-Wiccan/Wanda moment before Celestial Destructor clash;
-Doreen knowing names of fallen squirrels is sweet;
-Sunspot surprisingly -and shockingly- continues to be charmingly entertaining and clever;
-"DONE DRAPER"
;
-"CAVIAR-VOMITING ROBOT EAGLE HOVERCRAFT" Heh!;
-The Maker! Not forgotten and definitely not out of the mix!
-Marvel Zombies friendly THE NEW REVENGERS photo opp;
-Dum Dum Dugan! Not forgotten even though his series was forgettable. Neat cameo photo of Howling Commandos and details of his techno-simulated existence;
-Captain Marvel's AFSS even brought in brilliantly tying 2 of the stories together;
-even though the ending with copies of a character to form an army screams trope cliffhanger it works this time and proper followup -or any for that matter- on all things Man On The Wall is LONG OVERDUE ever since Original Sin;

HA! Everyone learns their -phonetically similar- first squirrel word!
Very Bad:
