How would YOU rate Hank McCoy: The Beast -as an Avenger- on a scale of 10? You MIGHT feel compelled to judge him by Volume #'s as his personality/priorities/professionalism MAY have changed considerably between his various runs as an active Avenger? Whatever you like. Ranging from bouncing/bombastic/brilliant to bumbling/bothersome/blathering under different writers' pen. ![]() ![]() ![]() Beast (and other Avengers) recent comments on Time Travel in Old Man Logan #19: Strength: https://www.comicboards.com/php/show.php?rpy=comicbattles-2017083012201904 Previous Ratings: Tigra. Dr.Strange. Justice. Mantis. Jocasta. Wasp. Namor.

7. He's not part of the main Avengers clique. He's less annoying as an Avenger then in the x-books. He's the only Avenger named Hank I like. ![]()

10! The Beast was a big character when he was an Avenger! He was a fan favorite! He looked great (Byrne and Perez) and he was a hipster, ladies man, comedian on the team! He was a great character in some of the best Avengers comics ever!

I disagree with that last part, but I agree with the rest and rank him the same-- 7. I also don't get why people have been upset by his recent activities. City of Heroes is BACK!

That's a tough call. I love the beast as a character in his own right, and an X-Man (most of the time), and as a member of the Illuminati. But as an Avenger, I can't recall a lot of good stories there. He's a smart guy, but he was often written as a goofball so Iron Man could step in and be the smart guy. | |

As an X-Men he's over worked, under appreciated and he lurches from hellish nightmare to hellish nightmare IMO. ![]()
