I like the Ventriloquist,The first time I see the character was in Batman:the Animated series.

The Mystery of Scarface is also a good part,is he just a distinct personality from Wesker, who can manifies in his dummy or is he really a supernatural spirit take possession of his dummy and is a corrupting influence.
It,s normal for him to get (killed) and come back.

What do you think?

Ventriloquist was one of the best classic-style Batvillains in years, probably the last of them. A simple, warped gimmick, a schizoid personality who has a criminal genius mentality, acting it all out through a ventriloquist dummy.

The supernatural element to his origin seems completely bizarre and adds nothing of real interest to the concept IMHO.

I agree with you. adding the supernatural element took away from wesker and made the block of wood more powerful. I liked the different direction you could take with ventriquolist, like they did with Mr. Socko, and the quake master. It just makes for fun stories.

The puppet is possessed by supernatural forces?? When did THIS happen?

The Ventriloquist and Scarface, MUCH moreso than The Joker, made me laugh reading "Gatman" comics.
