Just to kill a little time, I tried to think of all the nicknames Batman has had over the years. I know there have to be some that I missed:

- The Dark Knight (the current favorite)

- The Caped Crusader (my personal favorite)

- The Masked Manhunter (very popular in the 1970s)

- The Caped Warrior (sounds a little dirty, if you ask me)

- The Dark Knight Detective (little bit of a cop-out, but still okay)

Can you guys think of any others?

Ironing Man

The Detective (Ra's Al Ghul)

The Bat

Not exactly the most creative but they get used.

I honestly never read this one, I wonder why DC stopped using it.

I've seen him called Bats, Old Pointy-Ears (or possibly Ol' Pointy Ears), the Gotham Guardian, and I'm fairly certain some of his enemies have referred to him as "the Flying Rodent."

Come to think of it, in his first appearance he was actually "the Bat-Man," if we count the hyphen in the middle as making it a "different" name! \:\)

The Darknight Detective was used for a long time before The Dark Knight.

They seemed to have switched the two after Frank Miller wrote his first tripe back in the 1980's.
