Did you have a fave this month? Preferred the Robin over the Catwoman surprisingly.

Catwoman seemed solid art and story but a bit of a rehash. Same angst about the perils of superhero parenting. Her nightmare was a convenient device to portray interpretations of Batman's rogue gallery just as was prveiously done with the last cover of Windows files. Helena getting more hogging the panel time. Batman, however, was awesome in his guest starring contribution. He should be in more baby scenes. The sudden (boring?) ending stumped me. One more favor? (After he effeciently did seemingly all that needed to be done to take her out of the game.) Did I miss a loose end? I was baffled 'til later in the evening when my brother had me check the next issue blurb which was overlooked. That is a strange twist solicited. Outsiders #1 suggests she will resume her role masquerading as members of dubious rep, which seems to contradict her intentions/actions in #71. Must wait an see, with no expectations, which doesn't excite too much for #72.

Robin on the other had interesting twists and surprises which was pleasantly surprising in this arc that I was almost tempted to... well, dodge to be honest. The surprise guest stars, interesting traitor reveal showed... well, 'skill' on Robin's part, and the fate of the bad guys worked better than expected in the wrap up. Robin was a little too gracious in his praise of Dodge, though. His faith in friends was 'about time' for this title. His upbeat attitude of Dodge's future was much better than his sullen state with the slow Zoanne subplot. Batman's smile was calculated yet sincerely warm in the cave. The wrap up ending was a little too pat with no temptation for next issue.
