So, is anyone else tired of this strange belief all Robin writers seem to have? That Tim knows nothing of magic or alien/future technology? "It contradicts just about every known law of science." Yes, it does contradict just about every known law of science, just like his time hopping buddy Bart, his alien/human clone hybrid friend Kon contradict science, along with Secret, the (formerly) undead girl who acted as gateway to death and Cassie, the daughter of the mythic god of thunder, Zeus.
It's beyond me as to why the writers on Robin try to place Tim in a universe where ninja assassins and teenagers starting gangwars is about as crazy as things will ever get.
Not to mention the fact that what Ras suggested is exactly what Tim has been trying to do in Teen Titans, so I'm a bit baffled by his uncertainty. Shouldn't his response have been "Thanks for the offer, Ras, but I'm already on it."?
Meh. On the bright side, the art in this issue is much better than what's been in Robin of late.
