I'm enjoying it. The most surprising thing for me so far has been the online response to the art, which in my opinion has been terrible, but as far as the story goes I really don't know where it's leading us, and that's exciting. After reading the last issue I expected there to be endless debates and much righteous indignation concerning the "revelations" about Bruce's parents and Alfred, but yeah, it's weird that no one seems to care. I think it's symptomatic of how jaded we comic book fans have gotten, where we can recognize the latest issue wasn't exactly the climax of the story, so it's unlikely this issue will mean a lot. I think it's all been bit of misdirection so far, so I'm not watching the hand in the air but trying to see what the hand behind Morrison's back is doing. I have no doubt it'll be cool when he finally pulls his "abracadabra" moment, but it hasn't happened yet.

There's plenty of chatter on other message boards, comic bookm resources especially, but no one reacted to those revelations because its obvious that their just slurs the Black glove is spreading (here's a hint kids: when a supervillain says something in a comic, it aint necesserily the truth. Their evil that way). What I dont get though is where everyone is getting this `they're gona kill off Bruce and replace him with someone else as Batman' cause I havent read a single thing in the actual comics so far that leads to that conclusion.

I think that conclusion was leapt to once the title of the story being "Batman RIP" was announced. I do think it's likely Bruce Wayne might take a time out as Batman for a little bit. And that at the end the character of Batman will be "forever changed" suggests something is going to happen, but what exactly is as yet unclear.

Exactly. One shouldnt, however, judge a comicbook arc by its title especially when Grant Morrison is concerned.
