Will wait for flea market prices for parts 3 & 4 because wasnt crazy about part 1 or this one... BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL #23 http://www.dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=10526 http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?p=7898526#post7898526 http://www.u-file.net/f-qvg5443
Some page by page reactions... Jokes are supposed to be accurate but the cover joke seems oddly wrong/forced for some reason. Dont recall such a joke. Is that a real poem over Holly's grave. Or the writer's original verse? Conversation with Alfred back then seems like anyone he's had 'last week'. Conversation with Gordon back then seems like anyone he's had 'last week'. Why does the Batmobile on page 1 seem different than on page 7? Oh, c'mon, HOW did he get the pen thru the wires? Not mention then get THRU the fence to the steering wheel? SHeesh. Curious how BM landed on top the van. Not that he couldnt do it but not sure HOW. Nice biker save. "I SAVED YOU A TRIP" was a neat line. And conveniently calculated to this point (just like Ledger's version). Harvey Dent involved (just like Eckhart version) - another unfortunate inferred movie redundancy if no canon accuracy here. Any Bat trivia experts know? Geoff's saddness is building - obviously(?) for the 4th part conclusion. Bruce/Batman SEEN behind the scene at the court&graveyard is good. So Joker not only has access to intel of the judge's allergy but also to a bag of peanuts while in cuffs. Oh, c'mon, pushing the odds too much - again. | ||||
