Not that the storyflow was confusing or the art was bad; just that the magicflinging and the parallel dream reality got tired by the end. Too much deus ex magica for a title more suited to breaking laws than breaking the laws of physics; and it looks like more next issue with reconsidered mindwipery ( \:\( been there, done that). The plot to expose Batman is simple enough the the steps getting there feel convoluted, so far (probably even Vicky Vale would agree, eh? ;\) )

No idea who Shrike was so could not appreciate Z's rivalry. Whats his story? http://imgur.com/ZpNA7.jpg Also, what ish did Batman last meet Sensei's student?

With Catwoman popping up all over with Bruce back, her living with the Sirens needs MUCH more rationalization/justification for it to work as her status quo. Not to mention for this title to last - though 17 issues is longer than expected considering. Nice poser covers like this one http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=39201&sessionid=1cd203fbd5015c6a847e0efddc3c85c6 don't hurt though - or do they?
