Well gee, no topic, which greatly surprises me! Each month I've been having a toss up in my mind: what's the best book out there? It's been between Batman and Daredevil for a long time for me, both featuring stunning art with unique storytelling that isn't even attempted replicated anywhere else. The two books actually have a lot in common, if you think about it. Fortunately, both came out this week so I got a double shot.
Batman though, I'm really liking how this has developed. It's one of the few comics I've been reading where it feels like there's a real sense of danger. I love how Snyder incorporates Gotham history into his storylines, and as the action really lit up in issue 6, it didn't falter at all. With the craziness that was issue 5, I didn't think he'd be able to keep pace, but I'm still having fun. Anyone else enjoy?
