And it turned out to be someone no one cared about. One of the worst mysteries of modern television. And to me as bad as the Red John stuff was the only reason to watch the show was for the episodes about Red John.

I hate this actor they have playing the Joker on Gotham. So I'm all for someone else turning out to be the Joker. Or better yet they just never reference the Joker ever again.

Uh, you hate the actor they have playing the Joker?

There IS no actor playing the Joker. No Joker character has been introduced.

WHAT in the name of orange shoestrings and giraffe-shaped tool boxes are you talking about?

You've never actually seen the show GOTHAM, have you?

I loved the idea that the mentalist met and already knew the id of RJ from early on, and also liked the actor who played the "fake one: at end of season 3, but thought that the whole thing ended on a fizzle, as the Sherrif did NOT strike me as being this mastter criminal heading up this crime empire!

And would have much [referred to have had RJ been the cult leader, who was dying from terminal cancer, as that would have cheated patrick out of getting his revenge...

And I did like the actor who played Jerome, reminded me of Jack N lite!

I thought the actor had the gran and laugh spot on, as he really turned "demonic", and put fear into Gordon and the Dr...

maybe he will don the red hood in future and re set up another gang before changing into Joker?

Well according to Sethno we must both be nuts for dreaming the same episode. Or he just didn't see the episode...yet he mocked me for not watching the show.

Just saying based upon all those that could be the Joker, only Jerome "nailed" the look/laugh, and mannerisms of a Young version of the Joker...

The show runners said from the start that they'd throw us red herrings as to who will end up as the Joker, and the Joker's real identity has always been a mystery.

Gordon and others know who Jerome is.

The show runners have hinted. They've not plainly said he's the Joker.

Once we see Jerome with chalk white skin and green hair, we'll know.

Not until then.

Since Jerome's identity is known, I doubt it'll turn out to be him.

Think about it.

There was no need to be insulting, by the way.

"Maybe" is a pretty big word. And I don't really think Jerome is going anywhere there are red hoods to don.

As I mentioned elsewhere, the identity of the Joker has always been a mystery, and the police know who Jerome is.

Unless the show runners intend a major change from Batman's usual history/storyline, Jerome can't be the Joker.

I also LOVED the actor's presentation of the Joker's personality. For what he was trying to do to/for the audience, he was SO on target. I've seen many people say he was carrying Ledger's portrayal. Personally, I saw a BIG slice of Nicholson's.

He did a great job, but how can someone already known to GCPD end up as the Joker? How can it be Jerome?

And I am basing him becoming the Joker upn 2 things...

The creator used something similiar when he was showing us Red John in the mentalist, as he introduced us to him early on, and kept trying to throw us off the scent with red herrings, and that Gotham is lossely based upon the movies/comics, so the origin of the Joker can be brand new...
