Whether this is a properly handled Event or not, this chapter was an enjoyable chapter - and in spite of the fact it was cosmic oriented in this tradtionally street level series. So very much better than last issue's set up - that had more or less the same premise and story parameters.
The art was excellent. So many panel images to choose from for a banner submission alone.
The father/son Thomas/Bruce interaction was genuinely believable and heartwrenching.
The guest star characterization of Flash and usage of his Time Treadmill was a powerful part of the story.
There were a few clues about The Button, the Rebirth Event, and a surprise return of a certain 'dead' villain to provoke readers' thoughts about this take on time trope paradoxes and what the heck is going on and going to happen.
I miss Dan & Dan.
