Wah-Hoo!
Not. Definitely not.
Did Cap fly that super AoW Helicarrier here
all alone and get it trashed right after parking it - losing all armament resources and no crew?! Sheesh. BTW, where's the AoW backup that Okoye was promising in the main series? C'mon!
Shi Qaanth gets a name but Swordsman-ati still doesn't have one?!
Those 4 appreciatively named soldiers are
wannabe, wannabe Howling Commandos at best. Their coordinated victory was decisive but unremarkable.
At least the big battle and inside art was
visually better than in Empyre Savage Avengers #1. Cap's tired tactic of "Raise Morale. Barrel Through." just played out unsatisfying.
General Noah Boddy Woodley is a putz here, a pathetic go to American military leader for the Pentagon, and a weak plot device. Between him and Shanna The She-Devil over in the main book, the Cotati have very underwhelming plant-possession victims to take over Earth, eh.
Granted, that is one notable, humongous, last page threat for a cliffhanger. Cap' going to need a giant beanstalk to hit it with.
