Captain America 022

So much BETTER than last issue borefest. So many DECENT tidbits to chew on. And a potentially notable intro.

This was a wonderful Alex Ross cover but at the same time stupid CONTEXT MEANINGLESS. Sigh.

They should retitle the book "Captain America and the Daughters of Liberty". It has a patriotic ring to it. Not to mention the fact that this book has pushed the presence and better successes of that rotating SJW Women line up for some time now. Too bad for pushovers like Falcon and Winter Soldier. Sigh.

FINALLY, we get a bit of reveal how/why Ross (Thad nor Alex) is still alive.

Sharon Carter owns an Estate! Did we know this?

"The Alberia Operation"? Is this an UNTOLD story?

We get and untold Siberia story snippet flashback with Ross vs Alexa.

Selene both jobbed and yet pawned the heroes at the same time for the issue long fight. Still, this battle kept me engaged right up until the decent calvary coming cliffhanger that was both standard and yet interesting at the same time. It was comic book fun action to see her hit and being hit. Her sidekick gargoyles were still a bore, though.

"Blood-Marine"? Are we supposed to know this term? Guess it never registered with me until this ish where the word is repeated.

Sharon Carter was instrumental in capturing Stane from being a threat in BP's book. Did we know this?

Selene suggests Sam's vibranium-weave wings are more breakable than meltable. Hmm...

Shuri and Agatha! They are "known to each other through the mystic arts". Huh. SJW Women unite, eh. Regardless, their mystical team-up next issue could be comic book fun, too. We'll see in 30.

And of course there were some DoL tidbits. Getting those deets are like pulling teeth. On the plus side, there appearance usually means generous facetime for Toni Ho. The VERY LOW tech daily status board that was mostly eclipsed, was still engaging to INFER stuff. It looked like two 10-line lists of probably 20 members. All are either "ACTIVE" or "----OCATED" which is "RELOCATED"? Essentially, inactive as a DoL member? Plus, the shock that a woman had taken up the mantile "I. PATRIOT"! The great thing about this mystery is that is graciously resolved in this very same issue with the last page surprise (ala Rescue in Endgame) of who has become Iron Patriot (it's not Toni).

What is your take?
