There's Cap's 80th year special.

May be too late since Mother's day is in about 2 months. But something to honor the woman, Sarah Rogers, who raised Steve Rogers during the worse American economic downturn in centuries.

I'd rather they left her out of comics. The writers have a tendency to mess with a character's past a little too much. They already turned Steve's father into an abuser. It would be revealed that she worked as a prostitute during the Depression or that she was Tony Stark's father's mistress or something.

Back in the 80s, Gruenwald did a Cap story where Cap ventured into Red Skull's mansion to capture Dr. Faustus. Lots of spooky drawings and story threads, and the book ended on the writer's comment that it was a Halloween special.

Then there's Marvel Christmas book back in the 90s, where Cap learned that Bucky had a sister.

I just thought there are special days and holidays to give ideas to the makers of Captain America and other Marvel characters.

It's all to have fun and entertainment in comics.
