Black Racer is just another way of seeing death, in this case, he is an AVATAR of death for the New Gods while Death of the Endless is the human concept of death.. same goes for Hades (or Charon as the ferryman) for Amazons, etc... different cultures/races/species have different versions of death but ultimately all are death.

Death in the DCU is like the DCU concept of heaven, it is subjective to the character (ie. Dr. Mid-nite would go to the Christian version of heaven or an Amazon would go to Elysium or wherever they believe heaven is)

TMK, Black Racer and Death of the Endless have never met, therefore there should be no reason to say he is a "servant" of Death of the Endless. And in this case neither would win, because killing death would be a paradox within itself.

But hasn't Superman killed a version of death before (some skeletal dragon thing) and Flash beat this aspect of Death in a race.

Can't say it seems to be to be portrayed on the same level as Death of the Endless.

I'm not exactly sure what your evidence is supporting (that death can be beaten?) But even Death of the Endless herself has been shown to have weaknesses that can be exploited (The Girl Who Would Be Death mini) and the fact that the Endless themselves can be beaten (Morpheus' death).. if my earlier post was unclear, I meant to say that two manifestations of the same being cannot defeat one another because they are in fact, two manifestations of the same concept. That would be like saying that Jesus is more powerful than the Holy Spirit in Catholic theology.

Again, I wasn't saying that death cannot be defeated but rather that there can be no winner when dealing with two manifestations of the same concept.. it's paradoxical to say that one concept of death can defeat another.. it's like saying the chicken came before the egg or vise versa.

Again, they have been stated by DC as being two manifestations (among many) of the same concept. Whatever assumptions people have from reading Sandman cannot hold true because ultimately they are just assumptions (even if Neil Gaiman disagrees.. which he does). The fact is laid bare, DC has already shown that the different concepts of death (Black Racer, Death, etc) are all manifestations of the same concept but for different people. In short they are equal.. unless DC has changed their stance on this. Hope that clarifies my earlier post
