Subj: Ultimates2 #3: things go really cosmic

Wow, this issue deals with the abstract cosmics as primary characters more than any other Marvel comic I can recall. The Ultimates themselves don't appear until 2/3 of the way in. And an equal amount of time is given to develop the characters who are pursuing them. Ewing succeeds in piquing my interest about them, whom I had blithely dismissed on their first appearance.
The issue gives an explanation as to why Chaos and Order can kill the Living Tribunal and how Galactus was able to drive away Chaos and Order in a previous issue. The cosmic hierarchy is in a state of flux. Chaos, Order, and the In-Betweener combine into another being with three faces to apparently take over as a new Living Tribunal figure. Ewing is clearly mapping out a new cosmic hierarchy post-Secret Wars.
