I know it's been out for a while, but it's worth talking about.

It's got Technet! It's written by Al Ewing! It's fun!

The first person narrative along the left side of the page is fun so far, and makes the book feel unique. I hope it doesn't get old.

One thing that seemed off to me was Thug's powers. He's described as being able to bring his past and future selves to a fight (like Flashback, from Alpha Flight). I don't remember seeing Thug do that before in Excalibur. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Rocket's intergalactic lawyers, "Froggy" Frelson & Murd Blurdock was way funnier that it had any right to be.

The twist at the end where Rocket was actually working for "the bad guys" was fairly predictable, but was effective nonetheless.

It's a fun book. I hope Technet sticks around as supporting characters through this first arc.
