I know that buffoon editor Tom Brevoort was at the bottom of this. Has Marvel worked to get Starlin back on board with this? I can't believe Infinity War is coming up fast and they've done this to Thanos' creator.

It was pushed back, I believe to April. In one interview, Starlin said that the trilogy will be completed.

Do you have a link? When I google it the interviews keep saying he's done with Marvel because the story he's working on is too similar to one playing out in the ongoing series.

I do not, I saw it in the flood of interviews around the time of his break with Marvel.

The logic however, was that the first book is coming out (and I believe ends on a cliffhanger) the scripts are all written.

And while he may have been paid upfront (which would certainly make it complicated) the big reason was that he didn't want to screw Alan Davis out of the money.

That is coming out soon (I'm pretty sure.). He was supposed to do more, but he quit.
