Subject: Piper and Wally question for the Waid-era fans [Re: Kelson] Posted Fri Aug 03, 2007 at 09:16:04 am CDT |

Guys, Piper and Wally were buddies during the majority of the series, and even though Piper went back to being a crook Wally still hoped he could be a hero again someday. Do you think that hope is gone since Piper played a role in Bart's death, and do you think his friendship with Wally is over?

Oh yeah, that friendship is definitely over. Wally will make it his personal mission in life to track them all down and make them pay. ![]() GAMS Member #12 Make A Wish Foundation Jesus Forever "Want to see the size of my love?" Wally will make it his personal mission in life to track them all down and make them pay. I think that it's intentional that the fatal blows were struck by people OTHER than Piper and Trickster... that way, the relationship can be saved. Either way, it adds drama to the next encounter, and that's worth seeing. TJB

I don't think that matters to Wally. Just the fact that they were there and took part in his murder will be enough to end whatever friendship they had. ![]() GAMS Member #12 Make A Wish Foundation Jesus Forever "Want to see the size of my love?" You couldn't be more correct LS. Actually, the fact that Piper did NOTHING to prevent Bart's death makes it all the more tragic.
