If a style of artwork can make you vomit, you have bigger problems than not liking the book.

Congratulations. You got what you've been asking for: Bart's gone and Wally's back. Shouldn't you be happy now?

I suppose the lesson for the day is: be careful what you wish for.

Best art work ever in Flash book. He did a great job of not making the Flash look like the Hulk or Superman.

I don't agree. I enjoyed both. The biggest complaint I've heard is that the issue was less Flash, more Flash and family. But to be honest, if they barely mentioned Wally's family and the issue, and Wally was off tracking down Grodd or something, people would gripe that Waid wasn't adequately addressing how Wally's life had changed.

I liked it, and seeing how Wally has adapted to being a father, how Linda has adapted to be a mother to superpowered kids, and how the kids interact was what I was hoping for.

The art was different, but again, I liked it and felt it works well for Flash.

I don't like Acuna's art either. His "muddy" style just doesn't fit a superhero book. His style would be better suited for horror or detective stories.

We were all hoping for a return of "Flash" stories with Wally but instead got Wally and his family of freaks. Check out the cover to November's issue in DC's solicitations to see what I mean.

What a disappointment.

Yuck. Wally has kids. I was thinking of trying this series but never mind. The last thing I want to read about is Wally as a dad.

As for the comparisons with the Fantastic Four, well, I don't buy that comic, and one of the reasons is that Reed and Sue have kids.

As for the Incredibles, well, DC should publish an Incredibles comic. I wouldn't buy it because it has parents and kids in it. But somebody might buy it.

I like Power Pack but that comic focuses on the kids with barely any mention of the parents, who don't even know the kids have powers. I hate comics about parents. Runaways is cool too. The parents are dead and were evil any way.

Comics about heroes being parents. Yuck. Family sitcoms with powers. I hate family sitcoms.

I can't stand the art either. I just don't understand Acuna's appeal. I mean, his covers were okay (these days covers can be used most effectively to feature an unorthodox art style whether it's a pin-up or a representation of what's inside) but I don't understand his appeal. I actually liked Karl Kerschl's animated looking style instead from the All-Flash one-shot.

As for the story, I found it to be decent. The biggest problem is that Wally suddenly has grown-up kids and we are missing a gap in terms of character development. Even the narrations or explanations we have gotten doesn't seem to feel the same as opposed to witnessing the natural progression. To jump from point A to point C so quickly without a point B in terms of character, it just felt like a letdown.
