I went to the first Long Beach Comic Con this weekend. I hadn't expected any Flash news, but Geoff Johns made an announcement at the DC Nation panel:

The new Flash series will be a 30-page book with two stories: The lead story is Barry Allen by Geoff Johns and Francis Manapul. The second feature: Wally West by Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins!

Some other bits of Flash info:

• The new speedster coming up in Rebirth will be female.
  
• Rainbow Raider will appear in Blackest Night as the Black & White Raider.
  
• There are no plans at this time to reissue the collections of Geoff Johns' first run on the Flash.
  

I had a great time at the con. I looked at lots of art, caught some panels, got stuff signed by both Mark Waid and Geoff Johns, bought some books and prints, saw people in costumes, and did some sightseeing.
