This title could still use an overhaul of some kind. Was thinking of dropping after 8, as seemingly others have here, but FLASHPOINT promises change and had me curious to wind up reading...
It was sl-okay. The art was good - especially the speed effects panels.
Alternate Barry was interesting as Hot Pursuit both visually and logically - including his incredibly functional Cosmic Club-Cycle.
Great stuff to incorporate the 52 worlds into a storyline - makes that maxi-series worthwhile and probably hints at the true plotline of FLASHPOINT.
Not a fan of Bart and kinda hopinghe does get wiped out - also it was unclear if the Club-Cycle read his minds timeline or the temporal timeline either.
Neat how both Barrys were acting alike.
Not too sure if Barry is avoiding Bart as regular readers must know - or the significance of that purple hue in the panel when Barry says DAMMIT.
Still like the detail to point out that every Tom, Dick and Harry cant ingest Gingold and become a superhero on a whim.
A whole page devoted to getting a DNA match was very boring but it was probably intentionally intended as such. However the four pages reunite with Patty Somebodyorother and catch her up on the plot was just plain slow.
Didnt help that the three page ending at a serene crime scene sadly felt a little too presumptuous and underwhelming.
More hints at FLASHPOINT here:
I miss Dan...
