Like I sais to Daveym a few threads back, you just gotta switch off your brain and go with it on this show. I honestly think they're just making things up on the fly with no regard to continuity, or common sense, or...well, anything.

For example, when he killed his 'time remnant' he says something like 'Well, this is a complication'. But...why? If that was his plan all along it's not a complication - it's working perfectly. So...was that line in there to throw the audience off the scent, or hadn't they figured out anything after that episode yet?

Flash's speed: He's now faster than Zoom. Until the plot dictates that he isn't.

And so on.

Turn on, tune in, disengage brain.

Maybe that was a late modification to the master plan?

Like you said the show makes no sense.
