I think he's the last one of Barry's major rogues to show up on the show.

A Good point, when I look back on The Flash's original run It is surprising to note how those first four years were filled with so much innovation and creativity that virtually all of the foes and main cast we associate with The Flash today came from that very explosion back between 1959-64. After that point and right up until the end in 1985 virtually nothing new was being created, or at least nothing worthy of consideration, The Rainbow Raider being the possible exception.
Who wants to remember The Ringmaster, The Molder, The Clown, The Eradicator, Colonel Computron, Big Sir, The Sabretooth?

Still, it does occur to me that out of the classic villains we haven't seen The Top for example, and Mr Element. And I still hold out hope for Ralph Dibny to finally make the translation to screen... and yet have we reached a point in the series' development where, as with Barry's original comicbook run, the ingenuity has passed its highpoint?

Mr. Element was another identity Albert Desmond aka Doctor Alchemy used and Julian Albert on the show is more or less Albert. And we got a female version of the Top in the same episode we got Mirror Master. They didn't do much with her IMO.

Kind of disappointed we haven't gotten more Mirror Master. His kooky schemes were always my favorite in Barry's silver age adventures

I'd say Barry's comic series stopped being fun when John Broome left. I think Gardener Fox's work with the character also was great. Some of Cary Bates run was good but some of it wasn't IMO. I'd say the book started to suck right around the time Golden Glider showed up...I'm not blaming the decline on her...but it just seemed like the silver age magic ended in the issues leading up to Flash #250...from #250-350 the book was pretty darn dull IMO.

The article says current season, I assume that's a typo. Isn't there only a couple episodes left? And they already filmed them.

I think we have 8 episodes left. So there's a little time left to pull it off.

Flash and Arrow seasons tend to run 23 episodes per season. The recent episode was episode 15 of the season.

Groan! With this last Flash and Green Arrow too it finally feels like the endgame. There is no way to sustain the stories without going on tangents for 5 or 6 episodes again.

Yes overly long seasons lead to bad decisions like musical episodes
