It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?

So this is what the 3rd season with Jesse...when are we going to find out who her mother is?

    Quote:
Do they never tell us her mother's name because she isn't important to the story or because she IS important?

I'm wondering the same thing!

(anyone else find it weird Jesse wasn't around for the breakup with Wally but is back now that the guy who plays Wally is on Legends? Did the actors want nothing to do with each other)

Yeah, they've never been able to figure out how to write for either of them.

That's Barry and Iris's granddaughter Jenni right? Or daughter Dawn?

    Quote:

God she seems to have disappeared for a number of episodes. What a slow moving subplot.

Oh yeah, I forgot who she was because it's been so long.

Okay so Barry's refusal to time warp while somewhat understandable is flawed in that we are talking about only going back a few minutes to prevent the detonation. The change to time would be a brief one.

I think Barry doesn't want to time travel anymore. It's a crutch to solve his problems. Even if it doesn't cause more problems like it usually does he still ends up using it to solve his problems when he knows he needs to find other ways to fix things.

    Quote:
I think Barry's afraid the more times he justifies using time travel to solve a problem the more likely he is to mess things up or rely on it so often he doesn't use his brain to actually solve his problems anymore. He's trying to go cold turkey on time travel.

I thought for a moment Barry was going to someone portal the bomb to Devoe or else get to Devoe and get him to help shut it down.

    Quote:
I guess if it was me I would have solved this week's problems by teleporting the nuke into DeVoe's pocket dimension. Either he's super prepared for everything or he isn't. Enjoy your surprise nuke.

That would have been AWESOME!

They speculate that Devoe helped the terrorists get to the bomb but can't figure as to why.

The sphere with Barry's bio data in it is no longer in the speed force and is destroyed by the bomb and SF lightning. Currently there is no Speed Force storm searching for Barry.....is the SF satisfied? is this what the SF really wanted? or is this going to have ramifications later?

well given how the writing has been....I doubt it.

Also interesting to note that despite the speed force energies and speedsters regeneration powers that age can and will slowly diminish a speedster as Jay showed tonight.
