It looks like the roster for this new Defenders team changes by issue three, with Paladin, Underworld \(\?\) and....and....Atlas?

Atlas?

lol Good thing I haven't seen Atlas in a while. My hatred of him has dulled, so I'm not too bothered by this.

That's not Underworld, but some character named Junta, whom I never heard of since I never bought the CREW series. Here's more by Casey:

....it's only a five-issue mini-series. Joe Casey is a nice writer, so I think I will likely enjoy THE LAST DEFENDERS.

...this is probably an opportunity for Marvel to introduce one of the 50-state teams, and a mini is one way to go about it. But that team sort of sucks---so, Casey or not, it's not very promising.

....it'll be one of those wait and see deals. The Sons of the Serpent are the main baddies in #2, while Brother Grimm (one of them, anyway) shows up in #1. Another old Marvel baddie is supposed to be the main villain, although I have no idea who it is. In any case, when I get #1, I'll let you know how it goes and let you know if you should try it.

...though I assume these are going to be "just trotted-out" villains of the week. That sort of a thing. but let me know and I'll have a look. You're right, I shouldn't judge it before I read it. but I've never been a big Casey fan, and I really can't see the point of this title.
