Man, with two interviews regarding the upcoming new series, Guardians of the Galaxy now posted in Newsarama and Comicbookresources.com gives me serious fan goosebumps and a godd case of the 90s nostalgia!

Paging super DNA: misters dan abnett and andy lanning!

1) This fan want to see a new version of the Universal Church of Truth to menace the new Guardians. This would be a perfect counterpoint since it is a religion-based grey area metaphor-rich opposite to the Guardians.

2) I want to have heroes-turned-villains nemeses concept a-la Battle Axis, my vote would be for: Overmind (grey-area character for the most part) and the former Force Works character: Century.

3) A present incarnation of Starhawk and or the Hawk-God and some Arcturan Reavers villainy!

4) If Bug from the Microverse is in our dimension isn't Marionette and Arcturus Rann far behind? hehehehe Wishful thinking! BUT not as Villains but ALLIES!

I missed em Microns a lot!

5) More cosmic villains like the Classic Cosmic Convicts from the Maximum Security! a la The Raft! LOL

6) I also miss 'em Ex-Prisoners from the Stranger's Lab World

7) Man, I am missing Mark Gruenwald but then again, we have DNA!

Cheers!
Eric

Don't forget the most obvious link of the concept to the new GOTG - the original Universal Church of Truth was led by Adam Warlock's evil alternate future self, the Magus.

Considering DNA also used to write Force Works, Century may not be an impossibility.

Me, I'd most love to see the new GOTG meet the original 31st century crew through some means.

I'd pass on any evil Space Church. It's been done into the ground (mostly it feels by Starlin). Has anyone ever done the Evil Space Corporation in comics?

I do like this idea. Century had a hint of interesting during his brief time in the spotlight.

Yes!

It hurts my head too much when GotG appear in current MU. They'd have to travel into the past to before Vance met Vance and then travel to a future point along the timeline that was created where Vance never became an astronaut. Since they never mention this, it hurts my head! I would like to see the version of the future GotG that was formed without Vance tho'...

Good choice.

Not so sure. Maybe eventually. But I'd like this GotG to stand on their own for as long as possible.

Aw Heck Yeah!

Bubonicus (original GotG foe; might be around in this time)
Cloud (from Defenders)
Darklore (Infinity Watch character)
Domitian (Infinity Watch character)
Midnight Sun (Silver Surfer character)

I'm probably the only one that wouldn't mind seeing the Young Gods.

You were but I'm betting I'm not the only one whose imagination you sparked. We've seen the amazing good and teh colossal bad human beings given cosmic power can do in the greater galaxies. DnA need to hear this idea. Can you imagine what they could have been up to, especially if they were cut loose by the Celestials fairly quickly?
