Despite the obvious example set by Superman, I can think of no other prominent Golden Age protagonist who was an extraterrestrial. As far as prominent Golden Age antagonists, the closest we get is Mxyztplk, who was an alien from an alien universe. There was also Mister Sinister. Anyone know of any at Timely?

The original Vision was not of this world. Also, Father Time had a wacky retcon in Captain America that made him an Elder of the Universe, but in the Golden Age he was Larry Scott, so I guess that doesn't count.

Do you maybe mean Mr MIND, Captain "Shazam" Marvel's alien worm foe? Mister SINISTER first appeared in the mid 1980's and is a human mutate. In what sense does he come close to being a Golden Age alien?
