Subj: Extraterrestrial protagonists and antagonists of the Golden Age

Despite the obvious example set by Superman, I can think of no other prominent Golden Age protagonist who was an extraterrestrial. As far as prominent Golden Age antagonists, the closest we get is Mxyztplk, who was an alien from an alien universe. There was also Mister Sinister.

Anyone know of any at Timely?
