I've been trying to find out who this actor is who will be Captain America. Does someone know his name. He looks exactly like Steve Rodgers from his big chest, broad shoulders, strong jawline, and handsome blond hair and blue eyed look. Only problem (well not really: CGI) will be pre-change Rogers... But it's not insurmountable...

Exactly there is nothing on that page that says this guy has been cast. It's just a picture of comparison. What is your source Barbara that says a casting decision has been made?

Yes. I emailed the man who has the Captain America group and he said this was leaked by a Marvel employee and he has even gotten flack because apparently they didn't want this to get out.
He is an actor! A model too I think. I can't find out his name?????
Hopefully somebody will know! This is exciting!

If he was 10-15 years younger you would be spot on. As it is he is 43 now and would be in his mid 40's by the time he would be filming Cap.

That isn't Mark Valley. They look nothing alike at all! The new guy who is going to play Captain America is in his twenties and is much more muscular than Mark.
My lord just look at their jaws. Mark's looks normal compared to this new guys strong Steve Rodgers chin.

Having watched that actor in Days Of Our Lives, that show set in England, and Boston Legal I can categorically state that this is not Mark Valley. I'm certain I know him but I have a whole list of blogs that I visit that post pretty boy pictures so I'm not sure where. He has a shirt on so we can rule out Abercrombie...

Cap was never the first team member. Heck, if they mean he was born forty years before the others, that's not even true either. Thor is just a wee bit older than him as well as Ares, Hercules, Wolverine, and possibly even Namor.
