If only one can be listed as "the writer", should top billing go to the plotter or the scripter? The guy that dictated the major beats, or the guy that composed the notes in between?

Take, for example, early-'90s X-FORCE... Who contributed more life to the narrative: Liefeld or Nicieza? (Though this may be a tricky example, since Liefeld was also the artist).

Also, early-'90s UNCANNY... who contribued more: Lee/Portacio or Claremont? (Again tricky, because of the artist).
